At Al-Anon Family Group (AFG) meetings, friends and family members share their experience, strength and hope in dealing with the disease of alcoholism so other members may learn how to apply the principles of the Al-Anon program to their individual situations. Members learn that they are not alone in the problems they face, and that they have choices that lead to greater peace of mind, whether the drinker continues to drink or not.

The best place to learn how Al-Anon works is at an Al-Anon meeting in your local community. Personal contact is an important element in the healing process. Use the schedule to find and visit a local meeting or visit Al-Anon.org to find meetings throughout the world.

• Family, Friends & Observers

A meeting that welcomes observers seeking information about Al-Anon/Alateen such as professionals, medical personnel, students, reporters, etc., as well as newcomers and members of Al-Anon or Alateen.

• Family & Friends Only

A meeting that is available for Al-Anon/Alateen members and prospective members only. Anyone who has been affected by someone else's drinking is welcome.
